When I informed the seller and shared photo, they said, it may have happened during shipping, and quickly sent a new battery like in 3-4 days. Good service with some caveats, Item is new and seems to be of good quality. a good price, my only issue was with the shipping. I purchased the cord for my TV, I received it a day earlier than what was scheduled, unfortunately it was not the right fit. I ordered this battery to replace the similar battery I ordered in April of this year- That battery shipping box appeared Ok , but when I opened the box the internal plastic tray was smashed and when I installed the battery it did not work.. It was past the refund time ; so I guess I'm out of Luck... it was my order # 1516-12838-2307 . I ordered another and have just installed it . It appears to be functioning . I was unable to contact the seller .
