Order was as described and arrived on time. The item was well packed and in the promised visual condition. Drive was DOA when I received it. 23 Read error. Seller offered a refund if I shipped it back but was able to diagnose the problem to a bad main circuit board after buying a diagnostic tool. Replaced with my old drive’s board and now it works. Just wish it had worked as I paid for a working drive. Packaging was good; and he did offer to do a return but I declined it.

I never said you had to pay for shipping! You did not know what IPA nor knew how to clean the R/W, so I said to start an Ebay return. I wanted it back before a novice started poking around inside of it. He just wanted a refund. These are about 40 years old and can go out anytime on any component. Again you don't not pay for shipping back, then I would refund, not before.

This is the best packaging that I have ever seen on Ebay. The box was completely covered with tape. - USPS left it outside and it was snowing. Without the tape, the box would have been a soggy mess. Inside, the board was extremely well packed with foam and bubble wrap. Inside that, the board was in an anti-static bag! 👍👍 This seller definitely knows and understands electronics! It works perfectly; my 1541 lives again Thank you so much;! I highly recommend this seller for your electronic needs
