Love the Brita Elite. Much longer lasting than original model. Due to higher filtration sometimes it gets "slow". I take it out, whack it on 4 sides on the side of sink and all is good.
I have an old house, and didn't want to trust a test kit. So, I decided I would simply filter all my drinking water. I actually have two pictures. One uses a standard Brita filter and the other one has the long last version. Why? Because neither filter takes out all of the dangerous medals. So I filter in one picture and then pour it into the other. I'm not quite clear why Britta doesn't make a filter that takes care of everything.
Originally, we bought this product for coffee making, but decided that we should use it for our own water consumption. You can absolutely notice the difference. Highly recommend.
Great transaction with the seller. My negative feedback is for the product only. This filter is way too slow to filter water. I have the Brita UltraMax Water Dispenser which took about 3 minutes to fill using the basic Brita filter. The same dispenser takes about 30 minutes to fill using the Brita Longlast blue colored filter. I have read feedback on other sites confirming many others are experiencing the same issue - some people reporting it taking even longer to fill. There is no written documentation of this from Bita within the User Guide. I will be researching other products for my next purchase.
I have not used this product since receiving it. I still had one on hand. I see no reason why I wouldn't like them though. They're made for my Brita pitcher and the ones I've bought before have always worked well. I bought these latest ones because the price was very compared to that of your competitors. Below I have stated that I have used the product, meaning I have used the identical products before and see no reason why I wouldn't be satisfied with these. Thank you for the good products and prices.
Chosen for filtering efficiency, the extra lead filtering, and reasonable cost. Britain has wide variety of possible configurations. We keep 2 pitchers ready for use rather than faucet filter. Take one for travel for hotel or filing your travel water bottle. With stainless steel water bottles, you do not need the expense and waste of plastic bottled water ever again.
I have a PPM (Parts per Million) indicator and used it on my water. The pre-filter value is about 320 PPM and after filtering it's 192 PPM. I don't know what has been filtered out, but I do know that there is less particulate in the filtered water. I don't know how long it will last as it's supposed to be 6 months, but I will keep monitoring the water processed to see if it lasts for 6 months. If it does, it was well worth it.
