The eBay Motors Experience at SEMA this year was an automotive extravaganza featuring outrageous builds, immersive driving, and screeching tires. But those antics did not upstage star pro rally driver Ken Block, who auctioned 23 highly unusual pieces of automobilia.
The Ken Block auction gave gearheads a chance to own parts actually used by the famous rally driver during his motoring hijinks in the Hoonigan Racing Division. Let’s take a look at the weirdest and wildest parts Block offered in the Hoonigan eBay store during the SEMA Show.
Hoonigan Shartkart “Shower” Shift Knob
Who would think of using a shower handle for a shift knob? Ken Block, of course. He used the clear crystal-like acrylic shifter in his Shartkart. The Shartkart started as a Miata MX5 bought on eBay, stripped of weight and rebuilt with a custom cage then boosted with power for Block’s audacious drifting routines. Block made a lot of videos showcasing the Shartkart. Now the highest bidder owns the shifter knob that handled those shenanigans.
Rotiform Teddy Custom Wheel
Block worked with wheel-maker Rotiform to create what the drivers says is “the worst wheel design ever.” Rotiform designs custom forged and cast wheels. Fortunately “Ain’t Care Bear” is one of only two made with this design so the new owner can’t roll on a complete set. The other rim is on display at Hoonigan’s headquarters. But it’s a great conversation piece, whether you think the exclusive forged rim autographed by Block is cute or hideous.
Hoonigan Logo on RaceDeck Floor Tiles
Most garages are more comfortable and cool with garage floor covering. But only the winner of the SEMA eBay auction has floor tiles used by Block in his pit during several seasons of rally racing. Imagine your ride rolling off these RaceDeck black plastered with the Hoonigan logo.
Hoonigan “Scumbag Labs” Wooden Arrow
The cool thing about many of these pieces is they can be casually displayed in your garage. Then when somebody mentions a hand painted arrow, you can say, “Oh that? Yeah, Ken Block has that in the Scumbag Labs video.” Flash a smug family and play it super cool.
Autographed Raptor Bedside with Hoonigan Wrap
You could have spent hours waiting in line at SEMA to get a Ken Block autograph. Or you could have bought this Ford Raptor bedside. It’s plastered with the Hoonigan logo, and Block autographed the sheet metal. The black print on the bed glows gold when exposed to light.
Gucci Ghost Neon Style Sign
This custom neon piece is not just for Halloween. It can transform any garage or living room year-round. The spooky-cool sign is unique Ken Block Hoonigan. It was displayed in the Hoonigan’s break room.
Warthog Cracked Windshield
The plastic windshield is cracked, so it’s only good as a curious display item. But the Hoonigan logo will make all your friends want to know how you got it. Feel free to spin your own tale of driving antics.
Block’s 1969 Chevy Merchandise Van
Ken Block not only sold those outrageous parts, he auctioned the Chevy P10 shorty van used to display his merch. It’s powered with a Chevy LS6 engine producing 400 horsepower. The van’s body—covered in Steel-It paint and dressed with American Racing wheels—sits on an air suspension. The listing doesn’t mention if Block ever went sideways in his merch-mobile. Block also sold his patriotic red, white, and blue 1994 BMW 3-Series IS enhanced with Lambo-style doors.
