Works Well!
I am new to metal detecting and just purchased a Bounty Hunter Gold Digger. I opened the box, assembled the detector, put batteries in it and started scanning my yard. Within 3 minutes I found my first coin (1964 Nickel) about 2 inches below the surface. In about an hours time I found 16 coins in my yard, including 2 Pennies from the 1940s. Bounty hunter metal detector
I've only given a quick test run on a few coins that I planted in the backyard when I got it's couple weeks ago. Seemed to work good for a lower end inexpensive metal detector. The real test will come when it gets used for real, but I'm guessing it'll do just fine for beach combing. Great value for the money. lightweight, adjustable and easy to use. I would highly recommend this detector to everyone, of all ages. Personal experience and testing- Finds nails, pull tabs about 6'' deep. Railroad spike about 8-10''. Old metal 3' wide septic cap about 1 1/2'. Found it!
This product was easy to use, nothing fancy. I lost my engagement ring in the desert at a trailhead 5 months ago. Nice basic metal det
Does just what it is supposed to. Used it to find a property marker as well as search the yard for treasure LOL. Found a quarter, nickel, penny, small disk off of a plow and several crews/nails. My son and his friends enjoyed digging after I would mark an area with a flag. No need to spend a fortune to do basic searching. Items ranched from an inch deep to 5 inches deep. Good for the price

Keeps the grandkids entertained!
Good price for the detector, got it for my two seven year old grandsons to find treasure at our farm, which has been in the family for 6 generations, they are looking for their great- great grandfathers Mason jar of $ that he supposedly kept buried by the big live oak trees in the pasture, So far they have found some early 1900's coins by the old farmhouse porch.
