Bolted right on the bike with no issues. The unit alignment was perfect. It slide onto the push rod as expected. Quality finish and machine work. Bleed without issues, very quickly and no adjustments needed. Bike rides great and shifts without issues.
The stock Ducati clutches have always required a fairly stiff pull on the lever. Not horrible if riding on back roads or not in stop and go traffic, but in stop and go or city streets with a lot of gear changes required, they're not my most favorite thing. But installing this afternoon clutch slave cylinder, it reduces the effort, not a lot but enough to make working the clutch more enjoyable. Honestly, to me, it seems as this is the amount of force to operate the clutch the bike should have come out the factory with. If I had to guess, the stock slave cylinder requires about 15 lbs of pressure. And this slave cylinder probably requires maybe 11 lbs of pressure. So no, not a huge drop, but definitely an improvement.
I don't yet know about it's longevity, I'll have to wait and see how long it lasts. It did bolt right up and the clutch resumed it's normal duties once the bleed had been done.
