Reacquainted with an old favorite
I do not like a fragrance that you can smell from 10 feet away. I wore this about thirty years ago but due to my line of work (criminal justice) I chose to quit wearing any type of cologne. Now I'm retired and decided that I wanted to use a light fragrance again. After a visit to the cosmetic department of a major store, I didn't really like anything. After several sniffs, nothing smells right. That being said, I decided to look on line for a bottle of one of my old favorites. I used to love Shalimar and Chanel no. 22. Found out that no.22 is no longer made and what's still on the market really isn't affordable for me. Shalimar was still available at a decent price. Lovely Nostalgic Scent
At first this perfume smells very old fashioned, almost out-dated, but the longer you wear it the more you realise how complex and interesting it is! I feel like it reminds everyone of something different from long, long ago. It's clean, powdery, sultry and feels like something you'd wear at an event where the ladies are in fabulous evening gowns, the men are in tuxedos, and people have to lean in to realise you smell amazing, because you've dabbed it on your wrists and behind your ears. Perfect (Eau de) Parfum
This is a beautiful bottle of Shalimar in all ways. The eau de parfum is more rich and long-lasting than the eau de toilette. It lasts for a very long time. The initial burst of exotic scent mellows and seems to become more rich over the course of the day. Or night. A deep, warm, fragrance that becomes a "signature" fragrance. My Favorite Perfume

Love Shalimar!
For many years, this has been my fragrance of choice. Unlike some others that seem to turn to bug spray, when I wear it, the scent stays true. If you buy, be sure to get the Eau de parfum, not the Eau de Toilette. The price, at $40-ish a bottle is a definite value. It is made in France, which is what you want. Classy Classic memories

Energizing, fresh and stimulating
Shalimar was my fragrance of choice in college. Now I again turned to it, like one revisits an old love or friend. Evokes youth and beauty. I'm so glad I have the chance to get te-aquatinted. all good things take time
it didn't smell like Shalimar par fume when I first smelled it. But it is smelling better everyday. I guess its like wine and has to be exposed to the air and ripen to get that full bodied fragrance that Shalimar is famous for. It is one of my most favorite fragrances.购买已获认证： 是 物品状况： 全新
