Seems like it would be good, but it was much too small for my application
The product seems very well made and high quality. I'm giving it 4 stars even though I actually didn't get to use it. I bought it to pull the front wheel hub on my 2004 F350 4wd truck. I was not able to use it because it isn't even close to large enough. I saw reviews on other sites where people said they used it on their trucks. I'm guessing they are pretty small trucks because all the attachments I tried would need to be at least double their size. I considered fabricating an attachment that would fit onto the wheel lugs but I really didn't have time. I ended up beating the hub off with a dead blow hammer, which was exactly what I was trying to avoid by buying this tool. I'm sure I will come across other uses for the tool and hope to make use of it someday. Assuming the puller attachments fit your application, I feel this tool would do an excellent job, but I can't give it 5 stars without having been able to actually use it.
This is a well made slide hammer. Just on visual inspection, the hammer and slide are built superior to what I've seen in local stores. Only pulled one hub with it so far, but it worked easily and flawlessly. It does not cost much more than the lower cost brands and appears far better made. If you will use this tool on a regular basis, spend a few extra bucks for quality here. I'm happy with my purchase and expect it will last a lifetime.
Solid slide hammer with well-centered end. Gripped well and worked swiftly. This slide hammer worked after the "borrowed one" from the auto parts store did not - 10 minutes of banging with borrowed one and bearing did not budge. Literally a couple slides - to the beat of Back In Black, and the bearing was out before the singing began. Pieces fit nicely in compact case and don't fall everywhere when opened.
After buying cheaper products that ended up being a waste if money I bought this one. Should have purchased from the start. I was able to remove my rear bearing in seconds.
