great white burning mantle
I have been looking for a preformed mantle that performs like the original Humphrey ones from years past . These burn so bright and with a white light . Others I have bought from the propane companies in northern WI and the U.P. of MI always burn with a yellow colored light and are dimmer also . Hard on the eyes at night . More costly too . These mantles burn just as bright and with a white light just like the original Humphrey's . And the price makes it a good deal . I have 2 gas lights above my dining table at my hunting cabin and one has the original Humphrey in it and the other one has one of these in it . They both burn the same brightness and both are white light . Can' tell them apart . I definetly recommend these over the other ones that are on the market . Bright and durable.
The brightest pre-formed mantle available and I've tried them all. Some competitors mantles burn with a disappointing yellowish glow, the Auerlicht burn bright white an cast the most lumens by far. They are a tad larger and have a tighter weave, hence the superior performance. In my camp, I have both older Humphrey and newer Paulin brand lamps and they work great in both. They last longer too. The ceramic is a tad fragile, and I chipped one, but the fit is perfect and the weave is dense enough to give off more light than you'd think a small mantle would. I'll be ordering more as spares.购买已获认证： 是 物品状况： 全新

Better mantles!

You get what you pay for holds true here.
