upgraded from the 4500Nv to the 5700 with link with Sig Kilo3000 Bino rangefinders. As a stand alone unit the 4500 has more features, more gun profiles and range card....... really wish the 5700 basic had these two features but the 5700Elite is $300-$400 more.
Perfect for up to 1000m. I bought the 5700 to shoot .308. I could upgrade it, if I ever get a .338LM or a .50, to an Elite, but right now, most of the ranges I shoot at are 500m to 800m. The 5700 is easy to use once you have it set up correctly. It will take a few hours to practice but the rewards are great, I compared my results to Strelok Pro and they are almost identical. The offered firing solution is always right, the times that I missed, is because I screwed up. I highly recommend using a Kestrel meter when shooting past 500m!
When I can get it to blue tooth to my Ballistic app it gives me valuable data and information. But I do have a challenge getting it to connect from time to time
