Not proper fit

I had to ream out one of the screw holes because it did not line up with the screw hole in the block. Then I used a washer to cover the enlarged hole so the screw would hold the block off in place.

Great fit!

Unlike another review, this plate fit my 97 Kawasaki STX 1100 engine just fine. Bolts are correct length, caps are tight fit on carbs, holes lined up. My only complaint is, I dropped one of the vacuum caps in the engine bay never to be heard from again... maybe they could add another one to the package “just in case”
