Lisle 20130 - Magnetic Glove Dispenser. Lisle 19860 - Tire Deflator Set for TPMS Valve Stems. Use with a ratchet or impact wrench to pull the new stud securely in place. Position the tool over the stud shaft.
Works really well, if the studs are the proper size they install with somewhat ease. Ensure you use anti-seize on the threads of the new stud. The first one I installed was tougher with just WD-40. Put Antisieze on the threads and much much smoother. Some people would argue a stack of washers are just as good, but with the integrated bearing your not fighting rotational friction. Worth the $20.
It's quite effective. There's not much to say. It's a stud setter. It turns smoothly, even with substantial pressure. I don't know how it would hold up to daily use, but for the 20 studs I needed to install, it did the job within my budget.
Worth it. And replaces the washers you end up destroying in the process. Its beveled for most lug nuts. Works great with a impact or a ratchet. Although I feel sorry for anyone installing studs with a ratchet. Poor ba$t@rds.
Excellent tool a must have..Put the studs in the freezer over night.sprayed a little oil on them..stuck them in the axle, put the tool on then the wheel nut..hit them with the impact gun..took only about 2 seconds,,done..Perfect..
