Enjoy a smooth paint job and finishing coat with this Dewalt variable speed polisher. This polisher features an ergonomic cushioned handle for maintaining a solid grip. The rotating head is controlled by a speed dial and achieves 600 to 3,500 rotations per minute. It delivers 12 amps of power. The polisher is corded, and it runs on a standard 120 volts. A protective cover keeps the polisher clean when not in use.

Versatile tool

The two handles give you good flexibility when using this tool for different task, whether buffing or sanding. There is a side handle and a cradle wrap-around (which I find very helpful to get wheel into the places you want. The range on thr variable speed is good and also marked in RPM, which is good to know for some media

Go with the best forget the rest

Used to buff autos. Slow start is the best then crank it up to the speed you want and it doesn't bog down and stays at that speed. Powerful easy to handle quality tool.

very pleased with this polisher

This Dewalt DWP849X is a beast. It keeps running and running and running. It's not overly heavy, but you can tell by the build that it is a quality machine. If this ever fails, I will be getting another one.

If you are looking for a Dewalt Polisher, this is the place to get it. It came as described. I have not tried it yet, but it was in the box still in the wrapper.
