The mavic air 1 is extremely fun to fly and has some interesting visual effects that other DJI drones don't support, like asteroid. The drone itself is solidly built and is really responsive while in sport mode. It supports hand gesture recognition and control and obstacle advoidance. The price point is reasonable given its age, and it's technology uniqueness sets it apart. The RC controller can be used with the DJI drone simulator, unlike the newer drone controllers.
It has most of the important features that more expensive Mavic Pro or Pro 2 have. Even with the wind of 30 mph, its stable. If this is your hobby , Mavic air is the best choice
The DJI Mavic Air is compact yet easy to fly and extremely stable even in gusty wind conditions. Video is excellent and the 3 axis stabilization works well to provide shake free video.
This drone is amazing! I have owned a Phantom 3 pro and a Phantom 4. The Mavic Air is just as great, if not a little better. I am taking a trip to Hawaii and wanted something smaller to take with me. I was a bit reluctant to trust a quad this small but let me just say, after a few flights all of my worries have been replaced with an even greater excitement. This drone will allow for better mobility and better shots than I could have ever gotten with a Phantom.
This drone beats all my expectations in term of quality of the camera and easy maneuver handling. The controlling software is sophisticated enough to prevent accidents and flying stability. You need to get h before flights using the Internet
My wifi is out so can't update it to do any serious flying. But my friend has one and it is great. The camera is really good, just what I need to post social media pics.Cant go wrong with magic air.
I like only the Drone.DLJ Mavic air is owesome, lots of function to video. I trashed the virtual reality Goggles, it just have 2 magnify glasses if accident look up into Sky with it, you could be blind. I don't like the case, SD card is slow.
