Bushnell TR-25 Red Dot - Tight Turret Knob

This red dot sight appears to be sturdy, well-built and compact - ideal for use on a rifle or large pistol. However, the unit I just received was defective. The turret kno,b which serves as the on/off switch and selects 11 brightness levels was so tight it was basically unusable. Even with gloves on, it was very difficult to turn. The more I tried turning it the tighter it seemed to get. So I returned this unit for a replacement. Note, I have another Bushnell TRS-25 which does not have this problem and which I considered a good product and a decent value.
Also, although these sights have 11 brightness settings most of them are too dim for practical use, Even the top 3 settings are barely adequate for use outdoors in bright sun.

Maglula LU16B Mag Loader for Colt SMG9mm

Cleverly designed product - works surprisingly well! The LU16B also works with IWI Tavor 9mm mags althouigh Maglula Co. reps don't seem to know that.

Excellent digital camera. Compact size with good 10X optical zoom. Also durable and reliable. I just replaced an identical model that I had used for 11years taking over 300,000 pictures.

Efficient Design Light Weight Rail Riser

Excellent very light weight design. No loose clamp bars, it just tightens its grip on a Picatinny rail.
Much lighter than competitive products that have full a profile cross section and a separate clamping bar. Also the attachment screws are small diameter so they won't interfere with some sights like EOTech that has its housing extend down below the rail. Great design but 2X cost of competitive rail risers.

Excellent quality replacement mag

Excellent quality mag as a shooter replacement for my 105-year old original. Fits perfectly. Clearly a stronger follower spring as required for reliable feeding. Highly recommended if you're actually going to shoot your Luger. The originals often do not have strong enough springs to activate the bolt hold open after the last shot. Also you risk pulling loose the delicate mag follower knob stem.

Quality Wren House

Sturdy construction, 1/2" wood held together with screws - not staples. Good design with vents and drainage slots. Could not afford to build it for the price I paid.

Nice appearance and quality but not exact Luger reproduction grips.

Excellent appearance, with sharp checkering but a coarser pattern than original and somewhat thicker than originals. So they look good and are more durable but not true Luger reproduction grips. Also they will require a lot of trimming. Good fit along front and rear of grip frame but the LH grip actually interfered with safety blocking bar in lowered position, preventing safety lever’s full range of movement. Needed to carve out material to fully clear the safety lever inside the grip frame. Side lip on RH grip was too thick, causing mag to bind. Radiused several areas and trimmed sharp corners and edges. Also used a very fine sanding sponge to slightly blunt sharp checking. Fitting work done with a variety of small straight and round files and use of Dremel tool with ½” sanding drum to sculpt out some areas and radius edges.
