Not Owl girl's origin just first appearance in costume.
This comic contains the first appears of Owl Girl in costume. There is no real origin. We already know who she is, Owl's girlfriend Bell. Otherwise, dell comics are good comics.

Runner up to Where The Wild Things Are
Swimmy's competition for the Caldecott was Sendaks masterpiece. The story of thinking outside the box and it's good to be different with simple but incredibly imaginative realistic artwork. Survival for the fittest? Or smartest.
