Warning! Not about tank technology at all!

The message of this review is that you need to read the subtitles and frontispiece of a book in order to understand what it is about. The Title "Tank: The Progress of a Monstrous War Machine" causes one to assume the book will be about tanks themselves. This is totally wrong. The book is about witchcraft, black magic, sorcery - one chapter is called "the great beast." The book is about the social and moral and even religious history of the creation of the tank, and people like Aleister Crowley, J.F.C. Fuller and ?Alec? Saunders are mentioned repeatedly. If this is what you are expecting when you purchase the book then you will not be dissapointed as the author uses numerous footnotes and documents his findings well. If, however, you are expecting a "tank history" of technology, military and engineering development then you will be disappointed.

AWESOME!
I'm impressed with this machine. The fit and finish is great, looks like upscale Japanese construction - heck, even the packaging is form fitted and high tech. Made in Turkey, EXTREMELY WELL. If Turkey can make stuff like this and the Canick TP9 they can easily become a great source of high quality goods.

Save a few thousand $$$ over a new 1dx.

So the 1dx has better rear view screen, video, etc. this is THOUSANDS cheaper - spend the money on a better lens or different focal range lenses.
