Dewalt DCS356B 20V Cordless Brushless 3 Speed Oscillating MultiTool 20 volt New (TOOL ONLY)This 20V MAX cordless kit includes one brushless 3-speed oscillating multi-tool with a universal accessory adaptor and two wood cutting blades to help get your project started.
No bad word about quality and ergonomic 'cause it's Dewalt. Really light tool, sandwiches I eat weigh more. But this is a tool that is designed for very specific tasks. But when he is needed, he does it with a bang. By the way, the bimetal blade included in the kit does not do as well with black screws as expected.
This is one of the most versatile tools I have used in years. I owned a corded multi-tool for a couple of years and used it very little with the blade that was furnished by the manufacturer. This is my 3rd cordless unit that I have purchased recently. I have found specific blades that make this tool invaluable. The wide blade with Japanese teeth is excellent for cutting and trimming wood or cutting drywall. We literally never use a drywall saw anymore. The multi-tool is so easy. For cutting nails, bolts or staples the bi-metal blades make it a snap. I used to spend hours pulling staples when re-upholstering chairs and couches. The multi-tool, with a bi-metal blade, zooms through those staples without gouging the wood. It leaves the surface completely clean. Removing grout is a snap when repairing tile. I don't damage the porcelain as easily as a grinder. It is much more gentle, yet agressive in production. I just love my DeWalt 356 multi-tools.
Works great! Another welcome addition to my Dewalt 20v tool collection (addiction ;) )
Works great and sooo much handier than dragging out a cord all the time. I have almost replaced all my cord tools with Dewalt 20v now and the next cord tool I need to use will be replaced too! So with that said the variable speed in each of the 3 speed ranges is real nice and so is the bright led. fwtw my genesis this replaced wasn't variable speed, and quick-change blades is nice even though its common now on tools. For sure this tool will get used a lot more than my other oscillating tool ever did because its just so easy to use. .
I have been using a corded multi tool all the time. It works fine, but I had to buy this one since I have a bunch of Dewalt tools with chargers and extra batteries. This is very practical when changing blades. I like the different speeds and the easiness of handling it. It works great. Always expanding my Dewalt arsenal.
Nice handy tool to have and being cordless is just perfect.
It is a great handy tool. The multi speeds is very nice and so is the easy accessory attachment. Its very easy to handle and if you use it with a small battery not too heavy. for this kind of tool being cordless adds a lot to the usability of the tool. Accessories can be expensive though and its hard to tell which brands are good quality.. It can replace a jig saw for a lot of tasks and its easier to use. Very handy. After you use it for a bit you will find that your reach out for it much much more that you thought you would ..
Have the DCS355 as well. This vibrates the hands less and has the speed adjustment for delicate work. Love it. Used the Milwaukee recently and was impressed with how they reduced the vibration transmitted to the hand. This is on par with Milwaukee. If this lasts like the 355 has, I'll have no complaints. Originally had a corded Fein and the Dewalt has been a better tool to date. Fein's been in the shop twice, Dewalt none.
