Milwaukee is quality, I have the Milwaukee full size buffer for my vehicles, the mini buffer is for smaller jobs and is less of a mess to clean up. I used on countertops, my motorcycle paint , and bath tile, cordless with a great rechargeable batters. I’m really pleased with the results. Also convenient for small scuffs and scratches on my vehicles .
Rather than cobbling together a polisher from a drill and adaptors, this already has everything together in a kit! Just add some polishing compound or wax, and shine up whatever your heart desires. No cord to deal with, plenty of power and rotation speed!
As one of the only companies that makes a cordless polisher the choices are limited, but thankfully this unit is good and reasonably priced. Personally I bought it for the polishing feature, overall I am very happy with the unit. It does tend to get a bit hot when you do a full run of the battery working automotive paint. Battery life is acceptable, the small battery will get you thru 20-30 min of work. The larger battery will run longer then it takes to charge the smaller so I haven't had any issues of waiting around for a charge. It's chooches how I like.
I love this thing. I recently bought the similar acdelco 3" polisher and wasn't happy with the speed control of the trigger. The Milwaukee buffer has a much smoother trigger control to really have any speed from slow to fast. Easy to use. Only downside is the small battery seems to die fairly quickly but at least there is a spare bigger battery for longer work time. A little more then the acdelco but overall I think it's better. Easy push button chuck lock, and the 2 speed settings is a nice feature as well. Definitely recommend.
I love all Milwaukee tool. I own several from drills to flashlights, saw saw to jig saw. My latest tool is this small polisher sander. When I received my tool on the box it shows two square batteries but when I opened it there was one smaller battery and one square one. I don’t know why the manufacture would do this. Other than that I love this product. I am going to contact Milwaukee regarding this problem.
So far a great little buffer. Nice and light. Used it to spot buff new paint that I would have otherwise done by hand. Great for denibbing. Don't know how long batteries will last yet.
Buffer is very well built. Run realy smooth, i love the 2 speeds. And last but not least not having a cord or hose to contend with is awesome, so much better than a cordless drill also.
