Marshalltown 56 in. Pry Bar Burke-Bar Prying Forms Nails Embedded Objects NEW. The Marshaltown Monster Pry Bar is ideal for prying forms, nails and other embedded objects. The pry bar is made of all steel construction to ensure a long life.
Bought this when I bought a 'fixer-upper' house -- knew I would need it, and even two weeks in, it has already been worth it. Used it as a sledge hammer, used it as a pry-bar... and boy does it excel at both -- was taking down a rusted out steel shed in the backyard, and came across some concrete footings, poured into a coffee can. "No problem" I thought --- ... little did I know it wasn't just a coffee can, but a two more feet of rebar encased with cement below that! This bar didn't complain, didn't whine, just popped those footings out of the ground like pulling a carrot out of sand. If you are going to do demolition, or anything that could benefit from some well-placed levering... you won't regret having this thing at hand.
A brute of a tool. Well made from a A mind that knew the placement points of forces in simple tools. Paleolithic builders would have been most envious.
Essential part of any mans tool collection, you can do a lot of things with a burke bar, ideal for demolition, lifting things, levering, spacing gaps, even as a pull bar (one end is open to slip over a wheel brace etc) you wont break one thats for sure
Been wanting one of these for years. Just bought an old barn that needs some demolition, so now have the excuse to buy one. I’m quite sure it will
