  Filters were shipped loose in a padded envelope. No packaging or protection on the individual filters. One filter was missing the plastic protective seal over the open end. The seal was not inside the bag leading me to wonder how long it had been missing and whether or not it had contamination that could be introduced into my engine. Maybe I'm too OCD. Filters do appear to be genuine Generac. Seller shipped in a timely manner.

  To stay 100% in line with the warranty, I ordered Generac oil filters. I'm sure that they will work just fine, the next time I change the oil. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time but they did get roughed up a little in the mail. The little boxes and the plastic cover on the rubber seals were crunched pretty good. It would perhaps be better to ship in one cardboard box rather than a paper envelope, but the filters themselves were not damaged.
