We have a small moveable lamp which takes takes one of these 40 watt incandescent bulbs. They provide a certain required lighting in a short video scenario we repeat for certain events. LED bulbs which approximate "40 Watts" are universally WAY too bright. The lamp isn't dimmable without extra hardware.That specific quality, warmth, and intensity of light isn't available from LED 40-watt-approximate replacement bulbs.
