Do it yourself kit

This is a kit to build your own grill light. Not as it looks like a complete grill light. You receive parts to build the grill light but absolutely nothing is put together. The light strand has the ends cut so short that you have to be very careful and soilder on connectors (not included) because the crimp connectors they give you pull right off. You have to put the lights on the face lense and silicone everything (silicone not included). Then once you put the back panel you have to silicone all openings. One of the openings for the lights had such a delicate little piece of plastic that it broke off before the lights even started to go in. It was such a small piece that there was no way to glue it back on. The instructions state to use clear silicone to seal the lights to the face panel. It is necessary to use clear because it gets everywhere and you don't want to see it on the lights or the face lense. But once you out it together and light it up, light pours thru the clear silicone flooding the radiator. Resorted to painting the entire edge black so the light would not flood the front of the entire radiator. After waiting for dry time between the 2 different steps to caulk the lights in and also painting the edge, this turned into a project that needed the entire weekend to complete. And this doesn't take into consideration that you have to take apart the entire front end of the machine to put this grill on. It looks good now but time will tell if the cheap lights provided will hold up to off road use This is not an easy project. Need electrical skills and a lot of patience. I would not suggest this items if you don't have a lot of experience in building this kind of thing.

Great Compliment to X3
This is a great compliment to the Can Am X3. It is of quality materials and looks great. Smaller size like the OEM so it does not interfere with the added radio tower like the longer shifters.
