I was fortunate to have parents who loved old stuff & taught me to reuse, recycle, re-purpose. EBay is my favorite place to find old stuff I crave & find new homes for items I cannot use. It's just the best flea market in the world--and the biggest!

Plants are fascinating---enjoy learning about them!
If you are not familiar with Great Courses, these college courses---recorded by professors respected in their subjects--are a wonderful way to keep learning about topics you love, or discover new passions. I will admit a life-long interest in plants and gardening, but also to an almost total lack of scientific knowledge of the subject. That's why i purchased this course, and I am so glad I did! Botany is one of the "hard sciences", and i am not saying this course makes it less demanding. However, when explained by a professor who is engaging, enthusiastic and very good at putting tough concepts into clear language, even a difficult subject can be digested, and the process can be fun. That's what Prof. Kleier manages to do in this course. Yes, there's still a lot of Latin, and "botanese" is not an easy language to master, but your path to doing so will be made much more enjoyable through this course. highly recommended!

Teeny Greenies are perfect for Teeny Weeny Dogs!
We recently rescued a 7 y.o., 8 lb. Toy Schnauzer whose teeth showed massive tartar buildup. It was obvious she had had no dental care in her previous home. Before we scheduled a dental cleaning, we decided to try her with a Greenie after each meal to see if her teeth would improve. After three months we've seen significant improvement; Ziva will still receive a professional dental cleaning next week, but her teeth are in much better condition than when we met her. Our other dogs have taught us that--with a Greenie after each meal--good dental health can be maintained. The Teeny size is especially important to us as ziva is so tiny she is unable to deal with the closest competitor's smallest size. So we love Greenies, and now so does ziva!

Great, highly flexable monitor stand
I purchased this stand to replace the one my monitor came with, which did not allow any sort of adjustment at all. I do a lot of complex photo editing and need to be able to adjust height and angle to get the best view, plus I share the monitor with my much taller co-worker, who need to put it up higher. This stand works perfectly, was moderate in cost and is very well-made and sturdy. Highly recommended!
