Nice
I haven't tried c or d size batteries in the Box but all double a triple a and 9 volt batteries fit well. There are several spots in the box that have extra ridges that are not really needed and makes for a little wasted space but not bad. I'm using it for a rechargeable batteries.

Very solid feel to this grip
I replaced a more rubbery grip that ended up tearing.
