From the description and pictures, I thought it wouldn't have been used but you can tell its had quite a bit of use for being the "store display". Still, I bought this and another from the same seller as a trial run as to whether I purchase the Great Jones brand new. The shipping was very fast and the packaging was great so that it didn't arrive damaged. The "new" other description is definitely not true, the bottom is stained and so is the interior

This book involves you from the very first page.

I love to read Stephen King. One of my all time favorites was The Shining so I was excited to read Doctor Sleep. The book had me involved from the very first chapter. I could relate to different things since I had read the shining. However even if you had never read the shining this book could stand on its own with good writing by Stephen King.
